President-Elect Craig Foster chose to bat first on winning the toss, but the SOA batters struggled against a tight attack. Only brothers Matt and Alex McGrady passed 20 as the tourists could muster just 147-9 from their 40 overs in this limited overs game.

Opening bowlers President Colin Allen and Ben McCure gave SOA hope with excellent spells, Ben claiming two cheap wickets. But any hopes of

victory were dashed by Shobrooke opener Andrew Daldorph, who scored an unbeaten 84 from 113 balls as they recorded a six-wicket win with seven overs to spare.
