SOA won the toss and opted to bat on what looked to be another flat one at KB. A slow and steady start from openers Holder and Aziz did leave many wondering if this was to be a 20 day game rather than a 20 over fixture however this was quickly dismissed when Chris Gayle (Frankie Crouch) came to the crease. Aziz and Crouch put on a lightning quick partnership both scoring fast 50s with Junaid finishing 75(48 balls) and Frankie 54(19), top work from the SOA big hitters and leaving Ross in the hutch not needed. 

Opening partners Hicks and Herbert were quickly put to the sword by SOA regular Trevon Burgess of KBCC despite regular edges through 1st slip. 1st change Ross and debutant saffa Jack White also unfortunate with several nicks through the slips, did the SOA only fielding 10 cost the seamers a few wickets? KBCC batter and SOA member Felix Loeffen also batted brilliantly on his way to 47 for the Baggies before match manager Smith resumed his spell with the aid of some very fading light to burgle a quick 5 fer against his home club. 

Another win for the SOA in a rare format for the club!
